Game of Thrones fans are sure to enjoy the “Home of Thrones” adventure package by Brendan Vacations.

This eight-day tour includes visits to many Game of Thrones filming locations and sights.

DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN DUBLIN

Welcome to Ireland for your Game of Thrones adventure! You will be met by your private driver at Dublin Airport and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon why not discover some of Dublin’s main attractions and some hidden gems on a Walking Tour of Ireland’s capital city. Later make your way to Guinness Storehouse to experience how this dark ale is produced from start to finish, ending in the Gravity Bar where you can sample a pint of the famous ‘black stuff’.

DAY 2 – DUBLIN/CASTLEWARD/BELFAST

Pick up your car rental at Hertz’ South Circular Road depot. Embark on your journey north, leaving Dublin behind.

Tollymore Forest ParkThis morning your first stop is Tollymore Forest Park, otherwise known as ‘The Haunted Forest’ in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, Covering 630 hectares at the foot of the Mourne Mountains.

This is where Ned Stark and his sons find the direwolf pups, and where the Night’s Watch stumble upon some dismembered Wildling bodies in the snow.

From here make your way to Castle Ward, or Winterfell. The Georgian farm yard has been widely used to film the outdoor courtyard scenes at Winterfell. Set on 820 acres this 18th-century mansion and walled demense overlooks Strangford Lough.

At Winterfell, why not hire bicycles and take a short trip to Robb Stark’s Camp at Audley’s Field & Castle. Dating back to the 16th century, Audley’s Castle and surrounding grounds was used as the backdrop to Robb’s Camp in Season 2, and where Jamie Lannister was imprisoned. After returning your bicycles to Castle Ward, journey to Belfast.

DAY 3 – BELFAST

Today explore Belfast, Northern Ireland’s capital city, on a City Sightseeing Hop on Hop off Tour.

Titanic MuseumDiscover the city’s living history along with its famous landmarks that have played their part in Belfast’s colorful development from its great industrial triumphs to the civil unrest.

End your day at the impressive Titanic Museum, where you can watch the famous ship’s life revealed, from her conception in Belfast, from construction to launch on her ill-fated maiden voyage.

DAY 4 – BELFAST/CARNCASTLE/GLENARM/CUSHENDALL

Dark Hedges

Leaving Belfast this morning, why not stop off at the Dark Horse and check out the uniquely carved Game of Thrones Door. In January 2016, the Game of Thrones filming location known as the Dark Hedges, or ‘Kingsroad’ to the people of Westeros, was badly damaged by storm Gertrude. The wood from two trees that fell that day has been carved into 10 intricately designed pub doors.

Embark on a journey along the Antrim Coast to Cairncastle where it all began! It was here on the Antrim Plateau that Ned Stark beheaded the Nights Watch deserter in the opening scenes of Season 1. This location is also where Catelyn Stark captures Tyrion Lannister, and where Bran & Rickon Stark, Osha and Hodor embark on their journey North of the Wall.

From Cairncastle it’s a short distance to the picturesque village Glenarm. This village is home to Steensons Jewellery Economusee where many of the jewelry were produced for the show, such as Daenerys dragon brooches and Joffrey’s crown. You are also welcome to watch the artisans at their work. Make your way to Cushendall, otherwise known as ‘The Stormlands’ where Melisandra gives birth to the shadow baby in the Cushendun Caves located just beyond the village.

During your stay at Ballygally Castle make sure to take in Door 9 – depicting the epic battle between House Stark and House Bolton.

DAY 5 – ANTRIM COAST/BALLINTOY/COLERAINE/LONDONDERRY

Travel the Coast Road and take in the unrivaled seascape, towering cliffs, white sandy beaches, tranquil glens, and lush forest parks. Visit the Giant’s Causeway, where for centuries visitors have marveled at its majesty and mystery.

Iron IslandsThe unique rock formations were created by the rapidly cooling lava of an ancient volcano – or perhaps the legend is right and they were placed there by the giant Finn MacCool!

Close by take the exhilarating rope bridge to Carrick-a-Rede island and enjoy a truly clifftop experience. From here check out the views of Larrybane, the location of Renly Baratheon’s camp.

Next stop, ‘The Iron Islands’ at Ballintoy Harbour. Situated between the Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, this is the location where Theon Grejoy arrives back at Pyke in The Iron Islands meeting his sister Yara.

Stop off at The Fullerton Arms in Ballintoy if you’d like to catch a glimpse of Door 6 which focuses on Drogon, Daenerys’ most fearsome dragon. Travel a further four miles to Dunsverick where Renly and Stannis meet to discuss their claims to the throne at Kings Landing.

From here journey Londonderry.

DAY 6 – COLERAIN/THE DARK HEDGES/DOWNHILL DENSNE/LONDONDERRY

This morning travel ‘The King’s Road’ or known locally as The Dark Hedges on Bregagh Road outside Ballymoney. This beautiful avenue of beech trees, dating back to the 18th century, is one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Northern Ireland.

Downhill BeachThe Dark Hedges is the backdrop to Ayra Stark’s escape from Kings Landing as she travels to join the Nights Watch disguised as a boy.

Travel to Downhill Beach in County Londonderry. Downhill Beach stretches for 11km and is where the old gods burn on the beach at ‘Dragonstone’ in Season 2.

En route to Londonderry City, why not visit Frank Owens in Limavady and see Door 5. This door puts heavy focus on the dreaded Night’s King and his followers. White Walkers appear by his side with an army of undead at his back.

DAY 7 – LONDONDERRY/DUBLIN

Londonderry Street Murals

This morning walk along the 17th-century city walls with a local guide and see Londonderry street murals of the Bogside on this walking tour. The murals known as the People’s Gallery, depict the history of the troubles.

Journey to Dublin this afternoon and drop off your car rental at Hertz’ South Circular Road depot.

DAY 8 – DEPART DUBLIN

This morning you will be picked up by your private driver and transferred to Dublin Airport for your departure flight.
